Realab / Intro

RELAB, the title that we have chosen for our association, comes from Rea, the grand mother of all gods, whose name together with ‘LAB’, laboratory, means a forge of creativity in full relief. In fact, RELAB rises in order to support and realize arts connecting projects, promoting different knowledge contamination and harmonization. It’s a place non-place where fantasy and creativity could melt into technology and “craftship”, till becoming a unique instrument. An act of faith for a future where intellectual development and culture worth will be recognized as positive and essential forces not only for the harmonic growth of man but also of the entire society. For this reason the association wouldn’t create only own projects but would also support someone else’s ideas in order to raise education and guide the new generations. We are so convinced that every sort of violence could be fought defeating ignorance, false solutions and prejudices maker. That is why we want to encourage cultural projects in emergent nations, where culture means the base of quality of life improvement. But our greatest ambition are projects, free from the new forms of cultural colonization, which improve art making capacity also in the poorest countries.
